FieldsAvenue.info - The Definitive Guide to Angeles City

Angeles City and Fields Avenue is known for the bars, go-go dancers, and night clubs.  Lets face it, the main motivation of the Angeles City/Fields Avenue bars is sex.  Sex sells, especially in Angeles City.  As well as a whole lot of San Miguels, the choice of beer in the Philippines.  Have a few drinks, watch the beautiful women dance, interact with them, invite one or more to sit down with you and have a drink, and possibly barfine that lady who has caught your attention.  More on barfines in another article.

What if you want something different away from the go-go bar scene to take your mahal (love)?

If you desire a club environment check out either of these two clubs.  R&B Music Venue is located approximately 2 miles from Fields Avenue along Don Juico (Perimeter) Rd.  Lots of locals go there to hang out.  Lots of great live music.  I would personally suggest going on fridays or saturdays to check out the band “Swerve”.  Good stuff.  The other club to check out is Sky Trax.  Sky Trax is on Fields Avenue between Roadhouse and Bunny Ranch and its a hang out for many local girls including off duty bar girls.  Lots of merchandise to look at here!

Shopping malls in the near vicinity is almost limited to SM City Clark.  SM City Clark is one of the 30 malls in the Philippines created by SM Prime Holdings, the largest shopping mall and retail operator in the Philippines.  Although SM Clark is one of the smaller SM malls, its a great place for shopping and entertainment especially when you are with your lady.  Inside you can find a cinema, two arcades, a bunch of clothing stores, and lots of food.

But do not limit your shopping to only SM City Clark.  If you’re venturous and like to explore, check out the stores and malls of downtown Angeles City.  Downtown Angeles City is approximately 5 miles from Fields Avenue.  There’s Robinson Mall and Nepo Mall.  On fridays you can also check out Apo market.  Its an outdoor flea market where you can find anything.  Live seafood, lots of vegi’s, clothing and footware, toys, and random nick-knacks.  A little video of Apo Market below.

There is also small amusement park called Disco Hurricane located right between SM City Clark and Fields Avenue with its entrance near Jollibee along M.A. Roxas Hwy.  I have yet to explore the place.  It is open in the evenings to beat the extreme heat and humidity during the days.

A little further down M.A. Roxas Hwy from Disco Hurricane and SM City Clark would be the Clark Special Economic Zone.  In here you would find lots of random activities such as golfing, different racing events, aerial tours, Fontana Water Park, fine dining, etc.
